Dr. Jerry Fanucci
Dr. Jerry Fanucci is the founder and President of ZKxKZ LLC. Prior to ZKX, Dr. Fanucci was the founder, President and Chief Technology Officer of KaZaK Composites Incorporated, which was acquired after 20 years by a large defense contractor. He has also served as VP of a small R&D start-up, as a technologist at the US Army Natick RDEC, and as a senior engineer at Kaman Corp. Dr. Fanucci graduated from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology's Department of Aeronautics and Astronautics in 1980, with a Ph.D. in Advanced Structures Technology. He authored or co–authored more than 40 technical papers related to design, analysis, testing, inspection, cost reduction, and processing of composite material structures, and has contributed to three books on the subjects. He holds more than 20 patents on low cost composite structures and manufacturing technology related to military products including missiles, ships, and aircraft, as well as commercial applications from telephone poles to earthquake protection.
Adam Lanik
Adam Lanik is currently Vice President of ZKxKZ and co-founder of Vortex modular roadway systems. Prior to joining ZKxKZ, he served in numerous roles in the aerospace and defense industry in the design, development and production of numerous products including composite missile canisters, missile structures, advanced vehicle and body armor, radomes, aerospace structures and submarine structures. He has spent his entire 20+ year career in this arena with special focus on composite and polymer materials, machine design, automation and leveraging AI/ML in manufacturing and inspection systems. He has a BS in Composite Materials Engineering from Winona State University, an MS in Plastics Engineering from University of Massachusetts-Lowell and an MBA from San Diego State University. He is also co-inventor on 4 patents and served 7 years in the Army National Guard in an Air-Assault Infantry Unit.
